Information on the Two-Tiered Program Registration Fee
Effective 2014, a two-tiered registration fee has been implemented for programs offered by Bouchie Lake Recreation that require pre-registration. To receive the lower Pre-Registration Fee you will need to show your Recreation Pass. These passes are available at NO CHARGE to all residents who reside within the North Cariboo Recreation & Parks taxation function and contribute through annual tax to recreation (link to NCRP map). If you reside within the boundary delineated on the attached map, you pay recreation taxes and are eligible for a Recreation Pass at no charge. All rural facilities in the North Cariboo receiving funding via this function have been directed to implement this 2-tiered rate by the Cariboo Regional District. This rate system has been in place at centrally and jointly owned CRD / City of Quesnel facilities for a number of years. If you do not have a Recreation Pass and do not pay recreation taxes, passes can be purchased from the Quesnel & District Arts & Recreation Centre for $157.00 / family for the calendar year. The pass ensures that residents who contribute recreation tax do not subsidise the use of facilities by residents of non-contributing areas. If you have any questions about this, please contact Bouchie Lake Recreation.
